ISITE Design began our partnership with Siemens in 1999 with the rapid delivery of a four month usability and consulting opportunity which saw ISITE Design team members travel to Munich, Germany, Orlando, Florida, and San Jose, California. Members of the Siemens team also visited our Portland headquarters working side by side with our development team on the launch. Since that initial engagement, we have worked with Siemens AG to deliver a number of projects including the HiPath Product Launch Microsite and GATU Microsite.
HiPath Product Launch Microsite
The goal for the project was to bring Siemens executives to their clients without a plane ticket. ISITE Design provided Siemens AG marketing with a sneak preview into a new Flash platform which was in BETA at the time. Siemens was impressed and chose ISITE Design to produce the eye catching marketing piece for the HiPath telephone system. The solution streams audio, video, multilingual closed captioning, and animated case studies via a single Flash interface. The launch of the Siemens HiPath piece delivered a significant increase in leads as well as a thrilled client base.
GATU Microsite
We worked with Siemens AG's Enterprise Division to develop an eye catching campaign for its venture into software that shattered previous notions of Siemens Enterprise as a hardware only division. A primary goal was to build market demand for the new software entry into the VoIP market.
ISITE Design worked with the Siemens AG Marketing Department to conceive GATU, a mascot which was eventually distributed through print, online, and collectible bobble head channels. GATU was a substantial departure from the traditional Siemens Brand Guidelines we envision for Siemens Online. ISITE Design created a game which allowed business users to quantify the ROI of implementing OpenScape. Since its release, the end product has been used in a variety of mediums, ranging from corporate presentations to marketing collateral.
